Band sawmill PLP-9M with chain lift

The PLP-9 band sawmill is a modernized model that features a chain method of raising/lowering the carriage to ensure the durability of the mechanism in comparison with the conventional screw and nut for lifting the carriage. Allows longitudinal sawing of logs up to 900 mm in diameter and up to 6200 mm in length. The sawmill can be manufactured for any sawing length. Depending on the hardness of the wood and the range of lumber, the productivity is up to one cubic meter per hour. Lowering and raising the unit for setting the thickness of the sawn board is carried out by a screw transmission with an electric drive. The sawmill is equipped with an electronic ruler, which contributes to higher accuracy and speed of sawing. To secure the log on the frame, stop fingers and a clamp are installed. To extend the efficiency of the saw blade, the sawmill can be equipped with a debarker (a cutter for cutting bark). The saw is tensioned manually by a system with an indicator.
